I design the logic before the layout.
I'm Diana, a product designer and owner. I work out how a business actually runs — the money flow, the states a record moves through, the mistakes that can't be undone — and then build interfaces that make those rules feel obvious.
Landlord Portal
A two-sided marketplace for renting event spaces. I designed the landlord side end to end. Each case study follows one tab from research through iterations to the final mvp design.
01 Bookings tab
Urgency is the sort order.
A triage view where half-venue bookings can collide, and the wrong click creates a double-booking.
02 Finance tab
Making money you can’t touch yet feel like yours.
How a multi-venue landlord sees what they’re owed and when, when the platform holds every yen until after the event.
Inventory management
A two-sided marketplace for renting event spaces. I designed the landlord side end to end. Each case study follows one tab from research through iterations to the final mvp design.
03 Bulk updating inventory
Building a feature we already should have built from the start
Designing a key seller tool for LEGO BrickLink®, a global marketplace for LEGO products with 15,164 stores globally.
Four habits across all projects
01
Model the business first
Map the rules before drawing screens. The costliest mistakes are wrong assumptions, no wrong pixels.
The screens differ, the way of thinking doesnt. These are the habits I’d bring to a design team.
02
States before screens
Define every state a record can be in, the components becomes a renderer for those states.
03
Friction only where it protects
Remove friction almost everywhere. Keep it where speed would break a promise to a customer, and explain how to resolve it.
04
Decisions on the record
Write down why, so a decision can be challenged cleanly and reversed when the real workflow proves it wrong.
